This is probably my first Italian Restaurant in Melbourne!! That was almost 3 years ago :')
Located along Lygon Street, this restaurant probably one of the most affordable restaurants? :)
What to Eat?
If you want something safe, Chicken Parma is good! Apparently all the first-timers ordered this :))) including myself :)

They are famous for their pizzas apparently!!! :)
Ravioli Carbonara. Very Creamy!! :D wish the portion is a bit bigger though.

The Restaurant
We walked past this place twice and still not able to locate it!!!! HAHA. The exterior of the building is pretty run-down. And the dining room is actually on the first floor. The ground floor is a pub, which could be very happening at night (especially when you are talking about Brunswick Street!)
We came here for a banquet dinner for Committee Appreciation. This got to be one of the most affordable 3-course-meal banquet places in Melbourne! The function pack (entree-main-desserts) is $52! Compared to other restaurants which would need at least $90+.
What to Eat?
Fish with ricotta? :)
Crispy skin pork belly, apple puree, cos and walnut salad. This is quite YUM!
Grilled Hopkins River Beef Rump with olive crushed potatoes, spinach and salsa verde. HMMM the steak is a bit DRY and overcooked :(
Pan fried king prawns with roasted red peppers, couscous salad, chermoula and almonds. YUM :)
Vanilla Cheesecake with Coconut Sorbe. Quite yum as well :)

Located conveniently at the intersection of Swanston and Grattan, many students walk past this restaurant everyday. But surprisingly I don't feel the urge to step into this restaurant :/
The food on the menu is very affordable. But i think the price is reflected on the quality of the food on the plate? :/

One of the Squires Loft restaurants in Melbourne, it boasts to have one of the best steaks in Melbourne :)
But gosh, this place is pricey! T_T

STEAK OF COURSE!
500g Pork Ribs with baked potato & BBQ sauce. Great! Tender and the meat fell off the bones. but Hurricanes Sydney is still my favourite!
A glass of red wine to go with that? :)

It was the cake display at its shopfront that attracted me into this restaurant! Haha.
I think the restaurant is a bit overstaffed, with too many waitresses standing in front of counter facing the tables doing nothing.

Pasta Mista :) Pasta Trevi is one that you have to put in the dish!

What can I say, THE PORTION IS HUMUNGOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF you are really hungry and don't mind travelling a bit further out from the city, THIS PLACE IS PERFECT for you stomach!
Located within 2 minutes walk from the Camberwell train station, this place has the largest servings of any dishes that I have seen :D
The restaurant is BIG! You could always find a seat!!! :)

I read about this restaurant even before I came to Melbourne 3 years ago :)
The original Tiamo is located side by side with Tiamo 2, and it is always full with people :)

Ricotta filled Tortellini with mushroom sauce! THIS DISH IS TO DIE FOR!!!! THIS IS VERY NICE!!!! The pasta is great and the mushroom sauce is just PERFECT and creamy! :)
Pizza Churizo.Taste inferior in comparison with the pasta but it is still alright :)

What can I say? This is a really cosy restaurant!
The internal layout and design is superb. Garden-themed, you feel like you are dining in a garden instead of a restaurant. Head down here for a different dining experience. And did i mention that the price is very affordable as well! :)
